This was the last goal scored in the last FA Cup Semi-Final Replay. Diego Maradona even came out and said “I wish I’d scored it.”

Tevez scored a double. Rooney added his name to the scoresheet, as did Park Ji-Sung. Enough said.

United cruised to a 4-1 smashing of Championship-side Derby County yesterday. United never really looked to be in any danger as we pretty much dominated the game. Derby had some good spells where their football was excellent, but their finishing lacked. Manchester now goes into the last 8 of the FA Cup with the victory.
Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo were set as strikers for Uniteds “younger” squad and Giggsy himself put in an amazing performance. He didn’t get on the scoresheet, but was pretty much the mastermind behind most of United’s attacking plays. The tally should have been higher as the line-judge was more than late in raising his flag to deny Ronaldo a goal. The pass was perfect from Giggsy, and Ronaldo went racing forward to put the ball past the Derby keeper. Only then, during United’s celebrations, the judge decided to raise his flag disallowing Ronaldo’s goal. Not that it mattered much as a few minutes after the half, Cristiano netted his finely placed header in to the top right corner. Mocking the side-judge, Ronaldo was asking him to raise his flag once more.
Darren Gibson, Nani, Ronaldo, and Welbeck were the scorer’s in yesterday’s game. All of which were some very nice goals. Welbeck scored his second of his FA Cup campaign as did Gibson and Nani.

Wayne Rooney has been out of action for almost 2 months and is looking like he is not going to play against Derby on Sunday with his hamstring problem. Roo looks set to return against Fulham next Wednesday.
Mike Phelan(Man Utd Asst Coach) says:
“We are still assessing Wayne. He has done a little bit of work but we are not going to rush that situation because we have important games. We will ease him back in as quickly as we can.
“If he is available terrific, if not we will look at it for the next game against Fulham because we would never jeopardise anything.”
This would be a pretty good chance for Tevez to continue shining in the FA Cup. Because surely once Roo comes back to the starting lineup, Tevez will be back on the bench. I’m not too keen on that decision simply for the fact that the Argentine international has been absolutely phenomenal for United these past 2 months. I just don’t agree with having to start Berba every game once Rooney comes back. The Rooney-Tevez 1-2 was one of the best striking combinations in the EPL last season and I think it would be nice to go back to that… even if it’s only for a couple of games. Don’t get me wrong, Berbatov has also been very impressive since coming to Old Trafford. I just don’t understand why Tevez gets left on the bench so much. Other than that, I have no arguments regarding the way we’ve been playing or the rest of the squad. I’ll take 1-0 victories all the time if it means we get to win the trophy. Credit that to Michael Carrick.
COME ON YOU REDS!

Berbatov sealed victory for United on Saturday as the Red Devils continue their run to the FA Cup final.
