Kanye West 808’s and Heartbreak

I’d have to say that this is by far Kanye’s most impressive album. I like the diversity he has to offer in his rhymes and beats. I have been very sceptical of Mr. West before because none of his albums had ultimately impressed me all that much. But his latest album has me repeating the songs in my head as I work. I like the feel of the album. He gets very personal and the beats are just raw and crisp. I’d have to say that Love Lockdown is my favorite song off this, but I’ve listened to the entire cd 2x since yesterday. Previously, there were no songs of his that I could relate to. Now, I can almost relate to the ENTIRE album. I like the electro-hip-hop thing he has going for him now and I think we can all agree in saying that he probably reached this when he worked with Daft Punk. It seems that’s the style at the moment. Retro meets Future. 80’s meets The Matrix. You get the point. I have to give Kanye his props on this album as it’s completely unexpected in the formula he has now provided.
Check this album, it’s definitely worth buying.
